If your husband is anything like mine, he is hard to shop for! What is it about men that either they have no needs or they meet all their needs themselves? Anyways, this gift guide for husbands may or may not be a roadmap to what I’m getting for MY husband and I hope you’ll find something for yours as well.

Get to his heart through his stomach:
Reese’s are my husband’s favorite and I recently learned that you can order Reese’s online to ship fresh, directly from the factory! Count me in.
Making your own whiskey sound like a huge endeavor, but this kit from Do Your Gin makes it simple. They have gin and vodka kits as well, but I know my husband is hoping Santa brings the custom whiskey kit!
Another unique gift idea is Butcher Box. Butcher Box delivers 100% grass-fed beef, free-range organic chicken, humanely raised pork, and wild-caught seafood directly to your door. I know my husband would love that! And as a plus, knock out Thanksgiving prep at the same time by signing up with my link to get a FREE 10+ pound turkey in your first box!
Sentimental gifts:
While creating our Christmas card on Shutterfly (which I did after getting home from Trick or Treating on Halloween… like I said, I don’t mess around!) I decided to make a wall calendar for Josh’s office using throwback photos from this year. So January 2022 will have photos from January 2021. I think it’s a fun idea and I know he’ll enjoy it as well. I especially like that I can pick which holidays are printed on the calendar AND add my own.
In case you thought a custom calendar would be my most creative gift idea, think again LOL! Josh is big on experience gifts, so I’m making a “date of the month” collection! I bought an accordion folder with 12 compartments, one for each month. Each month on date night, Josh can open the folder and have a pre-planned date for us. Some of the months are more involved, like gift cards to an escape room and a favorite restaurant. But some months are casual. One of my favorite finds for the date box was this Cold Case Mystery Game— it’s like a murder mystery dinner but just for two. We can get take-out and solve the puzzle together after the kids are in bed!
Gifts for the workaholic:
If your husband is back to going to the office, he would love some new business socks from Nice Laundry! I am slowly culling the years-old black socks in my husband’s dresser and replacing them with monogrammed options every holiday LOL!
Help your man steer clear of the bio-hazard that is the shared workplace microwave! This lunch-sized Crock-Pot is great for leftovers, soups, or chili and will slowly heat it until lunchtime! All you need is a plug, and it won’t make his office smell like food, either!
New work shirts are something guys always need but don’t always like to buy for themselves. My husband’s favorite are from here, and I like that they are wrinkle-free performance fabric.
Forgive me for being cheesy but I like to light a candle near our front door when I know my husband is coming home. I know scents are closely tied to emotions and memory, and my hope is that by coming home to the same scent he’ll associate it with the good feelings of home and leave work stress behind! I have these Homesick candles on the way after hearing great things about their non-toxic offerings.
Which of these suggestions are your favorite? What are you getting for your husband?
